Sugar and Spice Week: Powerpuff Power!

Sorry, Bubbles couldn't make it. She was too busy talking to squirrels.

Inspired by Cartoon Network's 20th anniversary and our general inclination to dress up just for the hell of it, we present our interpretations of what the girls, at least Buttercup and Blossom, would look like if they were real life heroes fighting crime in our own fair city. Check those Powerpuffs out!

Wanna get the look? Well okay! Below is a list of products we used to do it. Have any questions about the colors or techniques we used? Just leave us a comment! We love comments!

 for Buttercup:
Eyes: 88 color eyeshadow matte palette for the greens, Medusa eyeshadows in "Electro Black", "Electro White", NYX Fabulous Lashes in "EL127" and Maybelline Ultra Liner in "Black"
Lips: L'oreal Color Riche in "Truly Burgundy"
Face: Femme Couture Mineral Effects Bronzer in "Twice Baked" and Cover Girl Blush in "Rock n' Rose"

for Blossom:
Eyes: Medusa shadow in "Electro Pink", 88 eyeshadow matte palette, Klean Kolor Shimmery Palette eyeshadow, Maybelline Master Precise Eyeliner in "Black", NYX Jumbo Pencil in "Milk", Ardell Professional Natural Lashes in "131 Black"
Lips: Wet n' Wild Mega Last Color in "Smokin' Hot Pink 905D", Milani 3D Glitzy Glamour Gloss in "Starshine"
Face: Revlon Colorstay Foundation in "Caramel", Cover Girl Cheekers Blush in "Deep Rose"

Both of us are wearing clothing from Old Navy; a total coincidence for reals. The red bow in Blossom's hair came from Wal-Mart for one whole dollar. Buttercup's jewelry is from Avon and her black belt, well she earned that through persistent training and everlasting dedication to the martial arts, but really we don't remember where it came from.

We'll be back with a brand new batch of posts and fun next week, so stay tuned!
